Marlina Duncan

Marlina Duncan is the Associate Dean of Diversity Initiatives and the Assistant Vice President for Academic Diversity at the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity.

Dean Duncan is responsible for developing initiatives to foster positive and supportive climate and community. She also acts as a liaison to programs and offices to support positive student experience and retention as well as community outreach.

Duncan was educated at Westfield State University (biology, 1997) and earned her Ed.D from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (2009).  

Campbell has acted as the director of Diversity Initiatives and Education and Outreach at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, a uniquely interdisciplinary institution aimed at revolutionizing the understanding and treatment of diseases. In addition to her role at Brown, she is an adjunct professor of science education at Fayetteville State University.
